Jack Astor's - Whitby

The restaurant was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. Our server, Meg, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She helped me pick my lunch and it was absolutely delicious. We were not rushed and were made to feel comfortable.

We used to come more frequently pre covid but this is likely 2nd visit in last 3 years-all 3 family members had the burgers in different styles- all were very good- the burger meat was cooked in an excellent way and the taste was one of the best I’ve had in recent memory at a restaurant- the bun was really good and toppings tasty- they have a real well made and tasteful burger offering here- only complaint was fries were warm versus hot- the server was friendly and fast- only other issue is price-3 of us with burger and fries all around. 1 pop and 2 waters was $79 before tip!! Yes it’s not a fast food place but it sure is sticker shock!

First time in a long time going to Jack Astor's....for dinner this afternoon and enjoy every minute! Food was good, service...from our girl Sidney from Saskatchewan was awesome!!!!

We had a great evening at Jack's and this restaurant always has great food. The place is always busy which is good.

"Disappointing experience! I ordered the rice bowl and the rice was mushy and inedible. It was so gross that I couldn't even finish it. I should have asked for a refund, but I didn't."
