Tonight I ordered a Caesar salad with my Cheesesteak sandwich and was delighted with the quality. Real dressing, not from a bottle, real bacon bits and chips... from Parmesan. Absolutely excellent!
Good value for daily pub specialties (tacos, pizza, fish chips, etc.). Check their website for food specialties. Sometimes the service can be slow, poor or even rude.
Our handling of whiskey jackets has always been for food. We are in the area and it is our way to place if we want a meal, but the possibility to eat is not always possible by small children. We found the foods and the portion sizes to be excellent. The ingredients are always fresh and extremely tasty. Whiskey Jacks will continue to go to our restaurant and not just because it is nearby.
This must be the best pub food in Whitehorse. I was often and almost tried everything. Every night there are different specials. There was almost always a line after 6:00, but waiting is worth it. The service for...the food is all top notch....... Keep the good work!!!
We visited the restaurant tonight and asked for burgers that were not cooked to the point of being charcoal. Unfortunately, we received overdone burgers. We sent them back and requested for them to be cooked again, but we were served the exact same burgers. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, the server abruptly walked away. We requested to speak to the manager, but instead of addressing our concerns, the manager defended the server and blamed us for their distress. We made it clear that we understood it was not the server's fault that the food was subpar. However, the manager insisted that the restaurant had done nothing wrong and that we were at fault. Despite being a small town, there are other dining options available. We will not be returning due to the poor handling of the situation. It appears that the restaurant believes customers are the issue, but in reality, they need to improve their service. Goodbye.
