We were looking for a good local restaurant after finishing up a baseball tournament and stumbled on American Hero. My kids liked their kids subs (ham and American and pepperoni and provolone). My husband had the chicken, bacon and cheese and said it was okay. My Philly steak was amazing! Just what we needed! The staff was friendly and patient with us as we figured out what we wanted. It was also affordable for a family of four at $36. This was a good find!

Food was amazing. The service was just as good as the food. Felt like I was a regular customer for years and for how good the food was I will be!!!

This happened 4 times.. I ordered the classic cheesesteak mushrooms onions provolone cheese red sauce on side....one time it was all onions and they put American cheese on it after I pointed out that this is the wrong.. Thay put provolone on top of sandwich they put the red sauce on the sandwich which turned it in to a sloppy goopy soggy mess... I asked him to open wrap the sandwich even so the heat and steam could release from the sandwich and not soak into it the people in the store don't even know what that means every sandwich that I have gotten at the store in the past year has been wrong I will never eat there again.... On top of that the display case that holds their meat and cheeses are not separated in any pans or dishes they just throw it in the case.. cross-contaminating everything... And let me tell you this I called the health department they guy that works this area is incompetent... Beware of the food that you get in loris South Carolina... Food poisoned more than once in this town

They got good buffet good food on it good and the service is good there too
