I had a chicken cheese steak and it was perfect! The roll was one of the best I’ve had as well! All of the ingredients were fresh and the quality was spot on. Everything was delicious and I will definitely be returning soon! Joel provided some great customer service and was very personable. I’d recommend trying this place to anyone looking for some great food at a great price. You won’t leave disappointed...or still hungry!
After seeing a few Facebook reviews touting this shop 's sandwiches I stopped in for lunch last Tuesday. I 've known Joel for years and was aware that he 'd opened a restaurant but didn 't know what to expect. On his recommendation, I tried the cheesesteak. I ordered a pepper jack steak with no peppers or onions. The sandwich was great. The meat was perfectly seasoned and mated with a hearty roll, which is a must that a lot of other cheesesteak 'specialty shops ' somehow overlook. I will be eating regularly at this shop and fully recommend others visit, as well.
Tried this little gem of a hoagie shop today for the first time. The owners friendly personalities make you want to keep coming back and their food seals the deal! I had a cheesesteak that was so good I had to take half a bath afterwards....and a delicious rice bowl that I had to share because I was so full.
This place may have a small menu but don't let it fool you. There's a lot of great taste behind what little bit they have. The owners working hard to make a flavorful diversity to keep people coming back and it's working. The food is amazing and made with love and care. The atmosphere is also relaxed, well planned out, and open. This is definitely a sub shop that should be around for a while. Tater Buddies FTW!
One of the best cheesesteaks I've had since moving from PA to GA. Port Town Heros is definitely the best place to get a cheesesteak in the Port. No comparisons!
