The decorations are nice and you can eat indoors or outdoors weather permitting. The fish and chips gets a 6.5/10. Nothing to rave about, but still a solid and decent option. Their drinks were good as well. Overall a decent experience and meal.
Our first clue should have been that the restaurant was almost empty on a First Friday in town when all of the other restaurants were packed. I would like to be clear here that our server was friendly and attentive, and she was struggling with the issues that night. Our party of three was seated quickly. One of our group ordered a Manhattan with a particular brand of whiskey. The server told us they were out of that brand. But as soon as they said that, another bottle magically appeared. After more waiting (about a total of a half hour--and we could see the bartender from where we sat. Apparently, he was just mad about something), my friend finally got a glass of what was just whiskey with a cherry in it--fourteen dollars). I asked to see the manager and was told they had resigned that morning--not surprising). I 've eaten here before, and the food can be decent. The menu has no vegetarian dishes. My other friend, who is a vegetarian, was able to order the spaghetti, which was freshly made (they can add meatballs to it), and she liked it very much. Able to buffet the blow with a shot of whiskey, my other friend found her calamari burned and said that it tasted like it had been frozen and dumped in the fryer. Our lovely server deducted that from the bill. My own dish, a kind of fish and chips, was overcooked as well but more or less edible. Windows on Fourth has a reputation that precedes it of these kind of problems, but the owners don 't seem inclined to address them. That 's a shame because the place is ideally located in the heart of Williamsport. If you 're looking for dinner, there are other fine restaurants to choose from.
This cute little restaurant is part of Genetti Hotel.Great service by our server Zion. He's a total sweetheart. The bar food is decent, but I didn't venture into the fancier menu items so no comments there. The French onion soup was very tasty but too salty. My Lycoming sandwich (which is equivalent to a cheese steak) fell apart but was still enjoyable. My old fashion drink tasted weird. My favorite meal was breakfast, which is complimentary for all hotel guests.
Yiiiiikkkeeess. Our waitress was very unprofessional and the service was SO SLOW. Our food wasn’t too good either.
Tried this place for the first time and was pleasantly surprised they were having live music. Not sure how frequently the have this but it was great! The food was good as well. I had the salmon and it wasn't over cooked like some places do with salmon.
