Good little country cafe. Brand new coffee machine and they know how to use it. Using quality MilkLab milk, the coffee is top notch. As others have said, the pies, sausage rolls etc are all lovely and worth a stop for a bite to eat. As with most small towns, friendly service and a smile is a given. Access for wheelchairs is tricky, with a step at the front door, but prams will negotiate it no worries. Nice little town worth an overnight stay or a lunch stop on your way through.
Round pies, square pies, with several varieties of each, and sausage rolls, all home made. I had a round farm pie huge, with mince, egg and cheese a meal in itself, excellent pastry, delicious, didn’t need tomato sauce, perhaps the best pie I’ve ever had. Helen had Anzac biscuits, the real thing, freshly cooked this morning. Great op shop next door. We were just after takeaway, next time we’ll sit down, have coffee and take our time.
The pies and coffees are delicious! So much history and such lovely ladies working here. Can’t wait to stop here again!
Before entering in to national park decided to take a pit stop. Found this place, though to buy takeaway and after entered the shop, their friendly service is amazing. Chips are amazing. Friendly staff great chips coffee, what else needed.
