Contribuisci feedbackAbsolutely terrible, from the beginning to the end. This establishment is clearly failing and should be permanently shut down. We endured 2 weeks of consistently incorrect or cold dinners every evening.
Honestly, I would not recommend eating at this restaurant. The food was poor quality, cold, and if you dare to complain, you are met with hostility. The main issue seems to be severe understaffing. This place has the potential to be successful if they can get their act together. During breakfast service, the staff were clearly overwhelmed, trying to keep up with the busy demand. However, it seemed that there were not enough kitchen staff to clean the used dishes in a timely manner, resulting in lukewarm food. I spoke to some employees who mentioned that they were salaried but were working double the hours they were contracted for. Some even had to come in to work while on holiday. This lack of respect for the staff is unacceptable. Whitbread, please address these issues by treating your employees better and hiring more help. Otherwise, you may soon see a decline in profits.
I had an amazing experience on 12/03/2024 at this restaurant for my birthday. Sally was fantastic - thank you for the birthday cupcake and cocktails (Pornstar). You made our day! Thank you so much.
Please don't book to eat here, I've just sat there for an hour waiting for a starter to arrive, ended up walking out and I wasn't the only one to do so! If I could give less then 1 star I would. I can't comment on the quality of the food or the service because I didn't receive any. I listened to everyone sat around me complain they'd been sat there for significant time without receiving any food. I'm guessing there was only one cook in the kitchen and only one server, there can't be any other reason for such appalling delays.
Went to Hampton Inn today with some family to enjoy lunch and drinks. Service was great and really friendly. Happy to see they have a pool table now too!
