The Kings Head - Wiltshire

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, and my grandchildren absolutely love coming here. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is friendly, and I will definitely be returning. I appreciate that they allow dogs, even though I didn't bring one myself, it was nice to see them there.

Fantastic food and service every time we go, minutes away from the heart of the new forest yet quiet and quaint. Love this beautiful old pub and restaurant.

We had a late lunch with another couple. We phoned before leaving the Christmas Fair to ensure the kitchen was open. The employee answered promptly and all information requested was handled well. The pub has great atmosphere and staff really helpful. Beer selection/quality great. Food was impressive. We really enjoyed the visit.

What a hidden gem. Great place, really lovely inside and out. Lovely menu just what you would expect but much much more. The food was incredible, tasty, well presented and hot. We had a variety of starters the pigeon was lush. Fish and chips were great with two of us, I had the Game Pie from the specials board it was lovely a proper pie crisps pastry and a delicious filling, beautiful fresh veg and mash. Seared tuna was cooked to perfection and the burger was fab. Desserts sounds amazing too but we were well and truly full. Prices cheaper than mass produced typical pub grub. We have booked for their Victorian Christmas Event and if last night was anything to go by we are in for a treat. Special mention to the lovely staff who looked after us so well, chatted and made us feel so very welcome. I highly recommend you visit.

We had never been to the Kings Head before, but happened to pass it on the way to Downton and thought we would give it a try! We received a warm welcome and decided to sit in the garden, which was very pleasant and quiet. I had the Pie of the day which was lovely.
