Griff's On The Bay - Winchester Bay

I had high hopes for a seafood restaurant located right by the docks, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. The clam chowder was lacking in clams, and the potatoes tasted overcooked and smothered in a white, gluey sauce. The fish was pan-fried but had no real texture to it. The chips were also soggy, which was disappointing. While the server was very friendly, it seems the chef is not quite on the mark. I hate to be harsh, but overall, it was a total letdown.

The clam chowder barely had any clams in it, and the baked potatoes had a texture that reminded me of overcooked spuds mixed with a runny white glue. The fish was pan-fried but lacked any real texture. The chips were soggy as well. While the server was friendly and attentive, the chef clearly needs improvement. I hate to be so harsh, but it was a total disappointment.
