Browns Socialhouse Kildonan Green

I used to love Browns and since I haven’t lived in a city that has one, for over 6 years, I was really excited to find one close to my hotel.I ordered take-out twice, and unfortunately the food was bland and grossly overpriced for what you get. The first night I had Fettuccine Alfredo and I paid for extra Alfredo sauce and Parmesan and I am glad I did because what I found in my takeout bag was plain noodles. I ordered again tonight, believing that my last order was probably a mistake and this is what I received. This is the tofu dragon bowl and it was $26. I didn’t add anything this time, although I probably should have.I give this restaurant a 3/10

This was my first visit to this restaurant, but not my last! I took out my co-worker for her retirement lunch and asked her to pick a place. Glad she picked this restaurant. The server was excellent, very friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding, great presentation, flavorful and quick turn time from ordered to on the table. Loved the atmosphere, the menu options and the pricing was absolutely fair for the quality of the food.I live about 2hrs away from Wpg and don't go to the city often in a year but I fully intend to come back with my wife and have another meal at this location. Hope to see employee SYD5544 again, your awesome ! And so where the cooks !Parking: Found a spot no problems

Had the fish tacos. They were great but they would have been awesome if there would have been some or more sauce on the fish. But the flavour was there and the fries were the best. Only won't order the gravy for the fries. $3.25 for maybe a 1/4 is flippin expensive.

I visit this place many times. Good experience there but they removed few items from the menu, which I liked a lot. They should add more vegetarian items. Their nachos must try. I wanna say best nachos I ever had.

My wife and I came into Brown's for a late lunch. We had spent the morning in Winnipeg and as part of 34th anniversary we went to Brown's Socialhouse to enjoy a meal. At the end of our meal Angelo gave me the bill and we started chatting and I stated we were celebrating 34 good years of marriage. He congratulated us and provided us with a complimentary brownie. We were cheerfully greeted by 2 employees (one of which was Angelo). We had a great time because the atmosphere was good the service was great. Thank-you for being part of our special day. Looking forward to returning to Brown's in the near future.Parking: Easy, simple and close to location
