Chop Steakhouse & Bar - Winnipeg

We had to ask for the music to be turned down 3 times too loud. And food was disappointing. Everything was warm or cold on the plate when it was delivered so we can only assume it sat in the back before serving. What a disappointment for my first time to CHOP friend and for me returning after raving about earlier meals. Several staff apologized and we got gift cards for next visit. But unfortunately the meal was so disappointing we will likely not return even with gift cards. It would have been more appreciated if bill $120.00 for two dinners) had been adjusted and would have made it more likely to return. So disappointing and embarrassing after having bragged about it being one of my favorite steak houses. It had been my go to for birthday.

Very accommodating staff. Pleasant atmosphere. Good food. The wine menu could have a better selection.

Very disappointed. I am from out of town it was always my favourite place to eat.We waited 30 minutes for our server to take our order. Steak was tough not cooked as requested. When I mentioned it to the server he said it was done properly. I have had steaks here, at the keg 529 and this was not medium rare. It was burned on the edges very tough. The manager did come by offer to get me another one, however by that time the other people I was with were almost finished.We also did not receive the correct appetizers. The server said that was what we had ordered so we just let it go. Baked potato was undercooked

We reserved table 13, but they sat someone there so this was the first anniversary we couldn't sit at table 13. The food tasted great. Our server Eric was kind of hard to get back to the table but we also understand he was busy. This was the first time as well the on duty manager never introduced herself, she just brought all my husbands plates and kinda plunked them in front of him and said peanut allergy, that was it like it felt as though my husband was a burden.

Picked up my wife at the airport after a month of being gone. Got my daughter and where did we go out for supper? Our favourite place Chop. You never disappoint.
