Contribuisci feedbackAfter being put on a plant based diet last year, I discovered the solution to what to eat at Spice Culture. I get large bags of dried chick peas and lentils; for spices cardamom/ cumin and the lovely Garam Marsala. All reasonably priced. I make hummus, chickpea salad, lentil soup, etc. If I don?t have time to cook, their kitchen will cook up one of their standard dishesaltering the recipe to meet my needs. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Cool for international groceries (COVID: staff wearing masks, masks required. Other than that I don't see anything else done. Never seen it super busy to worry about social distancing... What There is a small produce section with typical items needed.I bought some okras. I like that the items are loose, so I can buy as much or in my case as little as I like.. After a year ofsupermarket shopping, I am a semi-pro. Super markets are tricky... not all items are necessarily cheap... The okras are by farthe most reasonable that I have found! I really like that there are all kinds of naans and rotis! There are a lot of seasoningsavailable for a lot of indian dishes that I want to make. It is the best option for the West side of Orlando, so I won'tcomplain. Environment I am surprised that the store is actually quite big. This is located in a plaza across from Key Foods andbeside Meats Choice. The inside looks overall clean to me when I went. There is also a food market inside! Niceness of thestaff The guy at the cashier doesn't always have the nicest attitude. Then again, I know what I am going for and never havequestions. Dollar Again, with grocery stores it is tricky. You may need to shop around. There definitely are a lot of itemsthat you can't find in other stores. But my okras were very reasonable! Yes Yup, I like that there are so many stuff I couldget for my indian recipes.
I visited for the first time today and had a great experience. The vegetarian lunch was authentic and delicious, offering a great value with dahl, rice, naan, samosa, and spinach paneer. The seating is limited, but takeout is available as well. The grocery store is very clean and organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful; they also speak English.
This is a great Indian and Pakistani grocery store that offers all the essentials, including a variety of snacks and prepared meals. However, the one drawback is the fresh produce. While you can usually find Indian herbs and vegetables like cilantro, ginger, ghiya, karela, and mango, the availability isn't consistent.
The restaurant is clean and well-organized, offering a good variety of Indian, Pakistani, and Southeast Asian dishes. In the back, there's a takeout spot called Curry Kitchen that features a range of Indian delicacies. The chicken roll, although a bit greasy, was still quite tasty. The palau paneer was enjoyable, and the garlic naan was excellent. However, the chicken vindaloo and lamb mandala fell short of expectations. On a positive note, the selection of snacks and drinks in the store was quite impressive.
