Colotlan Mexican - WISCONSIN DELLS

Finally!!! an Authentic Mexican restaurant! #1 in the dells for me! Small on the inside but big flavor in its food. I'm pretty picky about my beans. let me tell you. this is NOT your canned beans. SO SO SO GOOD! i really wish they would send me the recipe! Street tacos on point!!!!!

Colotlan provided a taste of home for this Texas at work in Wisconsin. Both the salsa verse and salsa rojo provided nice heat with good flavor. Jarritos was served ice cold. Ordered enchiladas and the chile gravy was flavorful and just the right amount of cheese. I don't like when enchiladas are covered with too much cheese. Beef was mixed with onions and chile peppers and had a great taste. Refried beans were homemade and with tons of flavor. Owner was working the kitchen and greeted everyone wirh a smile!

Let me start by saying I used to come here to eat when I was little with my parents I haven’t been here in many years and wanted to try it out again was not disappointed ! We where welcomed by the cook and made conversation my daughter was crabby and hungry so he asked what she wanted so he could go back right away and make it ASAP he brought it out very fast and the food was amazing snd even better then I remembered ! Great experience
