The food is of excellent quality, and the staff is very professional and attentive to details.
It was a dull morning in early March when suddenly the sun appeared, prompting me to grab a coffee and sit at an outside table to enjoy the moment. Without any expectations, I found The Courtyard to be a pleasant surprise. The cafe offers waiter service, which is always a plus. The two staff members, a young woman and an older gentleman, were friendly, welcoming, and efficient. The cafe is located in a charming old redbrick building in the heart of Wokingham's central junction. The area has recently been revitalized, and the newly laid triangular piazza in front of the cafe is quite attractive. With cars passing on the other side of the building, I found myself relaxing as I looked out over the pedestrianized part of Wokingham. The latte I ordered was excellent.
We went here while shopping in town. The food well cooked and resonably priced. Theres a good selection for a light lunch time meal both hot and cold.on warm dry days one can dine outside in the market square and people watch.
On a Saturday evening the place was packed, so it was a good job we had made a reservation. We went for the course menu for We had wonderful lamb koftas for the starter and the portion was almost a small meal in...itself. We then had the Burger which was excellent. Only minor drawback was it came as patties which had depth but not breadth. One patty which was thinner but filled out the bun would have been better. It was still delicious.
