Amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing people! Some of the most flavorful food I've tasted, and the environment makes you feel as if you were at home, except with better food and drinks, and a lovely beer garden out front!

We were passing through this area & decided to stop here for dinner. SO happy we decided to have dinner here. The pasta was PHENOMENAL!!!! It was al dente, as it should be and delicious as can be.There were four of us having dinner. I had spaghetti with shrimp - the sauce was not too oily, perfectly salted, and just enough garlic. My BF had Penne all'Amatriciana. They made this dish perfectly - just the right balance of pancetta and onions with thick tomato sauce - not watery. My sister had tortellini in a pink sauce with walnuts. She liked her dish but said it would likely have been better without the walnuts. I couldn't taste this dish b/c of my nut allergy. My brother-in-law ordered Pasta al Pomodoro. A simple dish that so many places get wrong - but not here. They made it with just the right amount of salt, the sauce was perfectly balanced, not too thick and not to watery. The location itself is very cute. It seems like an old house converted to a restaurant. I liked the cozy feeling it offered. The staff was very friendly and helpful. At the end of our meal we met a man outside & chatted for a few minutes - turns out he was the owner of the restaurant and takes much pride in all the food they serve. Next time I'm in Munich I will definitely visit Il Boschetto again.
