After getting the scoop that we could get the regular menu along with extra bar menu only on the bar area … we snagged the last 2 seats at a high-top table in the back of the bar near door to their take-out orders room . We were promptly given menus by our waitress/bartender Carolyn … who was so awesome in guiding and chatting with us throughout our visit. DH got a 20 oz. Sierra Nevada hazy IPA for under $5 and my golden margarita was definitely very effective i.e., strong enough for me to start feeling it … lol . In addition to the complimentary warm bread, I got a cup of the just the way I like it with corn and lumps of crab Maryland Crab Soup $8.25 along with the not really spicy but super tasty and large 10 oz. Firecracker Crab Bomb $44.95 with cole slaw and green beans. DH opted for the baked and overly filling Shrimp Stuffed with Crab Imperial $44.95 with baked potato and green beans. So glad we decided to stop in this place and hope that we have the opportunity to come again!
The food was excellent, best grilled rock fish EVER! The service was excellent! Some in our party had the crab bomb ...they claimed it was very good. The restaurant signature item....it was VERY pricey however.
Enjoyed the catfish topped with baby crab bomb and stuffed shrimp with crab imperial lightly baked. The food was delicious and our server was amazing. Looking forward to coming back.
....was visiting DC again...and thought about trying some crab cakes. Baby! Lemme tell you the Crab Bomb was 10 oz of straight up crab!! No filler! Yummmmy deliciousness! I had aeasonwd potato wedges and a garden salad as my sides. Hubby had the firecracker Crab Bomb which was a spicer version and it too was deeeelish! Mind you the crab bombs are 10 oz of pure-tee carb meat!! Its alot of food! The dinner rolls were HOT and reminded me of my moms yeast rolls....more yummy deliciousness. This was worth the traffic and the 36.mins it took to go 16 miles.
My husband and I had dinner there last night. There was a 45 minute wait so we went to the bar and had fantastic cocktails and crab dip. Our dinner was delicious! We will be back.
