I usually get the mocajets, it is enough for 2 people, has bacon wrapped shrimps, carne asada, pollen asada and a tomato phozo sauce in the base. Comes with a page of rice, beans, guacamole, tortillas. Cocktails are delicious. Service is always great.
Armed with plenty of gastronomic suggestions in Woodinville by a colleague, I decided to lunch (3/9/23). This was a pleasant surprise to find out within minutes of my worksite, there were quite a lot of spots to choose. I opted for a first visit to Plaza Santa Fe. I was recognized when entering the host stand, sitting on a sunny stand, given food drinks menus, then chips, salsa, and two ice water. I have to look peeled, Lol. The interior was bright and festive. Wait a bit longer than solo dinner, unlike if you have a regular or seat on the other side of the dining area. Finally, I could get someone's attention and pick up my order. The lunches had a nice selection. I fed her spicy salsa on some of the fresh tortilla chips. When my Enchiladas Suizas was finally brought to the table hot from the kitchen, nice presentation, spot on tasty, and very generous portion wise. Well seasoned, moist shrunk chicken wrapped in tortillas, with creamy tomatillo sauce, melted cheese and cut avocado. A little pico de gallo with crushed cabbage plus the usual roasted beans and Spanish rice rounded off the large plate. So much food, I packed half the duck and all chips salsa! There were cumulative time losses: Wait to place order, wait to request takeout boxes and also get my check. I took a star because of the inconspicuous staff and cumulative time loss. Pro tip for people with limited time for lunch, place one of the order for takeout/picup instead.
Woodinville is not a big city, but this Mexican restaurant has packed in some great flavors and portions with its food. They filled their menu with popular dishes. They scored the place with local colors and flair. Staff are looking forward to welcoming and serving you quickly.
The food in this restaurant is excellent! The service is fast and friendly. The liberation is at the top! The atmosphere is clean and festive. There are males who usually eat here. The waitress always makes the feeling they are happy to see you.
For being an non-authentic basic Mexican food place they have great service, great drinks and good prices! If your palette is knowledgeable on Mexican food than it's whatever but just come for drinks and sit at the bar, the male bartender is friendly and down to earth! Spanish playlist going, people chatting and laughing and overall a nice experience...
