Zacharias Creek Side Cafe - Worcester

The place was very nice but very warm in temperature. They had to open the front door’s in order to let the cool air in and the heat out. Our service was good and our meals were just OK. We had a meatball appetizer as well as cream of mushroom soup and the Short rib and also the burger. The cream of mushroom soup was very good however there were actually too many mushrooms in it if you can believe that. The meatballs I had too much of a seasoning that I could not put my finger on. Parsley perhaps. The short rib had a lot of fat on it and did not have a whole lot of flavor. The burger walked a lot better than it tasted. It actually looked gray when you cut into it and at first we were concerned about the quality and getting sick. It did not have a whole lot of flavor.I am not sure we will be back.

Food and service were excellent. Try the pumpkin soup (if they have it as a special)..delicious. Our group also tried the meatballs, fried oysters, and several specials. Everything was fantastic!!

I took my kids out to dinner and was looking for a place close by that had a kids menu. I was impressed by the size of their kids menu and the selections. It was, in my opinion, quite overpriced. A kids cheeseburger with one rather thin beef patty and an order of fries was $12.99, the price of an adult cheeseburger with fries, bacon, and all the fixings at many restaurants. Though it was not at all busy, it took over 1/2 an hour for my son to get his burger. He sat there watching me eat and complaining. I mentioned it to the waitress several times, and she apologized, saying she had put a rush on it. Aside from the apologies, nothing was done to make it right. He didn’t even like his meal, especially not the fries, and he didn’t finish it. That being said, my own food was very good and reasonably priced. My daughter’s meal was just ok.

An excellent establishment. Food is top notch, service was fantastic. The cream of wild mushroom soup was wonderful, creamy but not heavy. The cheese plate was delicious. The chicken Asiago was creamy and cheesy but not salty. In fact I didn’t have to season anything tonight which is rare. The creme brûlée was smooth and creamy but not watery at all. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend you check this place out for a date night or celebration.

The food was delicious and the service was good despite the two servers being very busy. The noise level was higher than I recalled from a previous visit.
