Indian Ocean - Worthing

Had one of the very best curries I’ve ever had tonight from Indian Ocean (recommending the chicken tikka balti). Arrived before estimated time and so tasty!

I have been a customer of this restaurant for many years, and the tikka masala usually impresses me with its well-spiced and complex flavors, as well as fresh herbs. However, the dish I ordered tonight was more like a red korma - far too sweet and lacking in depth, with an overwhelming coconut flavor. It was disappointing to say the least. The mushroom rice was decent, though.

King prawns??? Lamb ??? So much sauce , hiding miniscule portions !

I’ve ordered twice from here on chef kitchen website online. The best Indian around, delivered in under 10mins! I always get an upset tummy from this kind of food but I’m amazed how I don’t with this restaurant. Thank you it’s lovely!
