Typical german restaurant. Menu not too big, but enough choice for everyone. Yesterday range from Muscheln to Eisbein

This wasn't our first choice, but there there was a problem there and a quick search for something nearby came up with Onkel Ludwig. Here we found a good quality simple german meal beer and schnitzel at a good price and with freindly...service. Happy to go back if we ever find ourselves in Wuppertal again.

What you would call an authentic German kneipe . The food is excellent and the chef/owner prides himself of preparing all dishes himself, even the schweinskopf sülze with bratkartoffeln. The prices are very reasonable and the service is warm and welcoming. Nothing fancy, just good food...and a great atmosphere.

Wir waren nicht das erste mal hier, aber noch nie waren wir nicht wirklich zufrieden. DDer Fisch war lasch gewürzt und der Salat viel zu grob geschnitten und nicht gut gewaschen. Wir haben es auch bemängelt. Das Lokal ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, die Sitzauflagen sind bei genauerer Betrachtung unappetitlich. Zur Toilette muss man auch nicht unbedingt gehen, zwar sauber, aber total veraltet.Wir werden wohl nicht wiederkommen.
