I recently visited the Copcut restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service. Cherry warmly greeted us with a smile and genuine hospitality from the moment we walked in. The staff went out of their way to ensure that I had a fantastic dining experience.

Today, we came to this restaurant for a ladies' lunch with some tennis, and that is exactly what we got. We received a warm welcome from Darren (I believe that was his name, as he had just returned from holiday) who kindly changed the TVs to show Wimbledon. This was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised by the food. I usually have low expectations for chain pub food, but I ordered a steak and they were willing to make substitutions at no extra cost. It was cooked rare, which I find is rare to achieve these days. I would give it 4 stars, as we did have a slight delay for our second round of drinks. As my husband always says, there is always room for improvement.

I stopped by for lunch on Thursday, the 11th. The restaurant had just launched their new menu and I decided to try the lamb keema stack, which was delicious. I also added a dessert for only £1 and tried the trifle baked Alaska cake, which was served partially frozen and was also delicious. I will definitely be returning.
