The food was of exceptional quality and the portions were generous. From the delicious fresh bread to the hearty soup, homemade burger, and thick-cut fries, everything was incredibly tasty. The Thai chicken wrap was packed with fresh vegetables and was a standout dish. Overall, we had a fantastic lunch and would highly recommend stopping by this restaurant if you are in the area. You won't be disappointed!
We stopped by for a quick bowl of soup while passing through town. They had a large pot of self-serve soup with a slice of homemade bread for $7 each. Later, we noticed on the menu board that soup was actually $3.95 each. When we asked about this discrepancy, we were informed that the cheaper option was a bowl from the kitchen, while the big pot was an "all you can eat" deal. It would have been helpful to have this information made clear to us from the beginning. We do not plan on returning.
They were not prepared for large groups. Two people on staff. Food not cooked properly. Slow on service, however the server was one of the best I have ever seen. She tried her best to make sure everyone got what they ordered and as quick as she could.
Stopped here for lunch after reading the sign that said best burgers on the Yellow head well there is no way that was the best burger or even close I would say A&W has as good a burger if not a little tastier. staff seemed grumpy and made me feel as if I was putting them out to serve me.Not my first or second choice in Wynyard.
The owner of Lyndon's restaurant was incredibly kind and multi-talented, serving as both cook and waiter. The soup was delicious and packed with nutrients. We tried a new dish, a lamb wrap, which was a delightful surprise. The homemade fries were also a highlight, perfectly crispy and flavorful.
