Orion Cafe - YANCHEP

As a local of 17 years, apart from the two South African ladies Caroline and Barbara who ran the cafe like dynamos, the Orion is far superior in every way to the previous tenants. The service, the atmosphere, the food and the excellent coffee. Nothing to complain about at all.The contemporary beach style furniture, local art and world music, fit perfectly with the eclectic mix of locals and visitors. Thank god the old lot got the boot. Cant wait to get back and enjoy magic : If its not your style, great. Orion has plenty of fans!

After a bad experience a few weeks ago we decided to give the cafe another chance given the location we were pleasantly surprised service was friendly and quick coffee was good and the food was acceptable for a small cafe although a little expensive for what you get. We will try it again.....

Wish they would simply clean up the place, such a great location with fantastic witwen, but eating is very hit and miss, small portions for the price, tables are always dirty and rare deleted, personal are very friendly but always busy. food: 3 service: 3 atmosphere: 3

Ordered a mocha in a cup that she extra for, 20 minutes later it brought out in a small glass. when I asked why she said it didn't come in a cup. terrible service, I won't be back
