The Old Butchers Coffee Shop - York

We went here for my partners birthday evening meal. A lovely , warm , friendly atmosphere with an excellent host who took time to make sure our visit was a great experience and welcomed us with a smile and some good conversation. The food just took us right back to our holidays in Greece and was so much better...who knew we would find this hidden gem on our doorstep! Thank you Bistro66 :

Super friendly service, a nice setting and lovely italian/greek food made our visit special. We had cheesy garlic bread, 2 pizzas, ice cream and drinks. All desserts are made in house. We were early diners. The good food means this restaurant deserves to be busier than it was yet made to feel very welcome. Will return.

Just had a lovely meal, chicken gyros with halloumi, we really enjoyed it, the dessert was really good too! Will definitely recommend to people I know!
