Moe's Southwest Grill - York

We frequent Moes and we are pretty easy going as we both worked in the food industry and understand how it goes. Our last trip was a bit disappointing, 7pm on a Monday and we were told we couldn’t get steak (didn’t want to prep more) or rice options (only white). Okay fine it happens. 3 employees stood off to the side while a new guy (on his 4th day) struggled by himself.Once we got our order and got home we realized we never received the cups of queso we ordered, unfortunately I’m not loading a toddler up to go back and ask for queso, and to be fair i don’t think the staff working this evening would care too much as is. Love Moes but this turned us off for awhile, I should have known when we didn’t get the “welcome to moes” when we walked in (my child was very disappointed by this part)Seems like this location is hit or miss

It's okay. Wasn't overly impressed with my burrito. Something tasted off about it, there was like a watery taste. Staff were friendly thoughFood: 2/5

Kind of skimpy on the portions. I would suggest Chipotle. Chipotle bowls are packed to the top and it seems like their portions are double the size . Moe's will give free chips for what it's worth.

I love Moe's restaurants as a whole. I frequently go to the one in Reading Lancaster and york. Last night my wife, my son, and I stopped in after hockey games in Washington DC on our way home. There were people in line in front of us. It was 7:45 when we were able to order and they close at 8:00. The one woman worker made it very clear that they closed at 8:00 and we said we understood but we still wanted to order. Two of the workers started getting very snarky and belligerent with us because we still wanted to order. Keep in mind it was still before their closing time. They no longer had several items to put on the tacos and quesadilla like lettuce, tomato, and a couple other things, salsa was put away and the Griddle was turned off so my quesadilla was not fully cooked. We sat down and ate our meal and the workers continued to be unkind to us. We left at 8:15 while they were cleaning up. At the end of the day I'm not upset if people start cleaning up at their closing time while we're there, but please have a full menu and be kind to people and serve them the proper all the way up until you close.

This is my go to for great prices on great food. Love the portions. I hope that does not change.Food: 5/5
