This gem of place was recommended by the pawn shop down the street. I understand why. My fiancé had this dish with chicken, shrimp, beef, bacon, and sausage served in a pedestal bowl. He said it was the best mexican dish he's ever had. I had the fajita with chicken, beef and shrimp. I loved that they took their time to caramelize the onions and peppers. Julie the waitress was very nice, attentive, and always smiling. We want to go back.
I'm becoming a regular here. I love the queso and I love that I can order a la cart which I usually get the enchiladas and they are phenomenal. The last time I came I ordered the chimi cheesecake and it was one of the best things I have ever ate! Definitely a must try.
I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious and reasonably priced the food was. For a group of five, the total bill came to under $80, which included appetizers, entrees, and dessert. The service was quick, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
I get frustrated when people order and then complain about authentic Mexican food simply because it doesn't taste like Taco Bell. Pay attention to these reviews! We tried a ground beef burrito, the California burrito, and the fish special (pescado especial). Both burritos were excellent, while the fish wasn't our favorite. We wish we had opted for the fajitas instead, as they looked delicious. The service was incredibly fast and very friendly. The portion sizes are generous and the prices are great. We have no complaints at all. Let's support small businesses!
