Meijer Aan Zee - Zandvoort

Mooie strandtent, vriendelijk personeel, mooie muziek.

Het eten was prima, lekkere cava drinken. Dienst was erg traag. Mogelijk door gebreken in de horeca, natuurlijk. Al met alles prima en leuke locatie

The food was good, the service not; we certainly did not feel welcome. Although we reserved a table for six persons in advance, nothing had been prepared. We were seated at a large unprepared table for 10. After we settled down, we had been kindly asked to move to a table for six persons; not because of us, but because our table was needed for a larger group. After several minutes of waiting we had not been asked about our drinks yet we had to call the waiter and ask him to kindly take our order. When the food was served, the sides (fries and salad) had been missing. Those arrived approximately five minutes later. By that time, we started to eat the main dish in order to not letting it cool down even further. The taste was good, especially the catch of the day (codfish), was really good. But it would have been more enjoyable if the sides had been served on time.

I had the Easter brunch: food was good, service a bit busy but that’s ok considering the restaurant was full. Overall very nice experience.
