Baboo Beach Cafe - Zanzibar

The chicken curry was delicious. Cute little cafe right next to the beach. Gluten free options were available!

They at 1st gave us a bill with much higher pricing , claimed it was a mistake. Knowing and being African myself, I know it was most likely intentional. Not sure if its from there but been having stomach problems. Its the recent place I had taken food. A bit disappointed... the milk shake however was nice.

Food takes long time to be served. we waited more than 45min. location is ok but full of cats strolling around the table. food was salty and bit overpriced for the quality… mango juice was good

Very chilled local, open air joint serving a good range of local food. The extensive menu is displayed on the board outside and someone will greet you with mambo as you read it, then check if the dish you 're interested in is actually available. Lots of shaded tables look out across the sea, and if the timing is good, you can watch the sunset. Unfortunately, no beer served, however some dishes come with a thick fruit cocktail which is very refreshing. I had beef pillau, as unfortunately chicken pillau was not available. Nice tasty food at reasonable price around £6 all in. I 'd definitely go again.

The food was fine but nothing special, the service was pretty fast but the main reason to dine here is the fantastic view over the ocean
