Lackluster food and substandard service. I have no clue where the other reviewers ate but it wasn't the same place I did. The only person that worked there that even smiled was the guy that delivered the food. We ordered an appetizer, told the server we needed another minute to decide on our meals. Didn't see her again for 30 minutes. The fish in the fish tacos smelled like it was a week old. The chunks of chicken in my burrito were dry and taste liked they'd been cooked days earlier. Everything was very bland. Won't be back. On a positive note, weather was beautiful and the stroll through Zionsville was nice Parking: Watch the bottom of the ramp for auxillary parking, we knocked loose the engine splash shield.
Great unique Taco place. Must must must try dirty nacho fries and Churros.
This is a really fun place, filled with really great people! The food is yummy, the drinks are creative and delicious too. The waiters were all charming, chatty, full of great suggestions about what to eat. They rallied to serve our huge group with smiles, and with care. From the hostess to the manager, all were accommodating, talented people who obviously loved working at the Salty Cowboy. The food has inventive with equally fun names. And it was delicious! Everyone arrived tired and hungry, and left laughing and feeling like we had a really great time! That’s hard to do in a big group, but the staff made it easy to get our food, the drinks were yum and the place was filled with people having fun. What a special place the Salty Cowboy is! A gem of a place in a super picturesque town of Zionsville.
The food was absolutely delicious but it was expensive!
