The menu items are about 1000 yen each. I had the mixed tempura and it was delicious. It seems like they only accept cash. It was a lifesaver that they were open while other nearby restaurants were closed.
The restaurant only has 3 seats, and they do not allow sharing seats. There may be a wait for solo customers, even with a reservation. There is parking space for about 4 cars. The large serving of tempura soba costs 1700 yen and is just the right amount. The soba noodles are thick, firm, and short, with a white color and a mix of crunchy bits that provide excellent texture. There is a hint of sweetness that makes it delicious. The tempura, served with coarse salt, is plentiful but slightly lacking in flavor. The dipping sauce is average, but I would definitely recommend trying the famous Tochigi specialty dipping sauce called "chitake-tsuke-jiru" if available.
