Táng Biàn Mù - 竹富町

The famous squid ink soba noodles are delicious with a gentle and not too rich flavor. The appearance of the restaurant, with a variety of subtropical plants from the tropics coexisting, and the natural breeze flowing inside, make it truly feel like you've arrived in Iriomote Island. The staff are also lovely.

This restaurant is famous for its squid ink soup soba, and I was looking forward to it since I had it before. Unfortunately, when I visited this time just before 1pm, the soba was sold out. However, I decided to try the squid ink soup set instead. In the end, it was still delicious, so even if the soba is sold out, don't be discouraged and try the soup. The exterior and the surrounding atmosphere are also nice. Oh, there is a hidden gem of taro pie that you can take home. It's a bit oily, but if you have some sanpin tea alongside it, the lemon flavor and simple sweetness are delicious.
