The noodles have a smooth texture and are delicious. The tempura was also very tasty.
This is not your typical souvenir shop where you can find the same old stuff anywhere. It's a place where you can feel the atmosphere of Hinoemata Village. They also have a restaurant, but I didn't try it this time. I bought the garlic yakiniku sauce, which was surprisingly sweet! And then, on the left side of the register, I found the "Yamahito-zuke" for ¥630. This is it!!! It's really delicious! The green perilla, myoga, and chili pepper are all locally sourced from Hinoemata, and the pickled raddish is domestic with no preservatives. It's great as a side dish for drinks, on top of rice, or on its own! It would be amazing to have it with rice balls in Oze, or even just at the inn. It seems like you can find it at various places for ¥630. Highly recommended! The soba at the soba restaurant was pretty standard, but the condiments were so tasty that I wondered where they came from... and then I found them here!
I had lunch and it was really delicious! Not amazing, but still quite tasty.
