The shrimp was big and the mayonnaise was plentiful, which I loved. As a fan of lettuce rolls, both Takeshin and Ichihira are equally delicious. It's a shame that Takachiho is so far away and I can hardly ever go there. My nephew was eating the nigiri sushi and said that they had sea urchin and salmon roe in them, and he seemed to be enjoying them. The head chef at the restaurant is kind and has a lovely smile, and the cozy atmosphere is soothing.
During my visit to Takachiho sightseeing, I visited this restaurant for the first time and the chef was incredibly kind, chatting with us in a friendly manner! The portions were generous and the cost performance was great! The bamboo shoot sushi was also fantastic! I'm truly grateful for the wonderful memories made here!
This is a sushi restaurant located in the mountains where you can enjoy very fresh fish from their own tanks. The menu includes dishes such as carpaccio, a platter of raw kawahagi fish, butter and soy sauce stir-fried komatsuna, chawanmushi, salad rolls, and bamboo shoots rolls. The ingredients and flavors are different from what you might find elsewhere. The owner and his wife are very nice people, and I have grown to love Takachiho even more.
