Both were served on a sizzling hot teppan... absolutely delicious and crispy. The teppan really enhances the flavor compared to serving on a regular plate. The teppanyaki dumplings also came with a side of stir-fried bean sprouts and garlic chives, which was a nice touch. Since the soba alone might be a bit strong in flavor, I recommend adding the hot egg (or even a raw egg). The garlic soy sauce, pickled ginger, and pickled mustard greens that you can freely add as condiments were a nice service. The elderly motherly staff were very caring and we are grateful for that. Next time, I would like to try the ramen and fried rice.
The regular tonkotsu ramen was good, but I would like to try something different next time. The fact that kaedama (extra noodles) are free is a bonus. The noodles themselves were reasonably delicious. Today, I tried the miso ramen, but personally, I thought the tonkotsu was better! ^w^ In addition: I tried the slightly spicy miso ramen, which was delicious. I wonder if it's a limited-time offer? I also tried the curry ramen with cheese on top. I ordered the set with the evening set and finished it all - it was very delicious. Although I didn't add extra noodles, adding rice was enough to satisfy me. The yakisoba was tastier than I expected, with a crispy texture similar to Hita yakisoba.
There is a wide variety of ramen types and they are all delicious! I wanted to try more, but I am from out of town so I will have to come back for the others another time.
