It was not too busy for a Sunday, but there was a wait to get in and it took about 20 minutes to place our order. I ordered the pork cutlet and understood the reason for the wait when I saw how thick it was. I usually prefer sauce with my tonkatsu, but the Lin SPF pork was so tasty with just salt. The meat was not greasy and very delicious. My companion ordered the ground pork cutlet and I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the roughly chopped meat was when I tried half of it. The ground pork cutlet was also quite thick. Sharing and eating together felt like a luxurious treat and I highly recommend it.
I happened to come across this restaurant while looking at a map, so I decided to visit. There is a parking lot in front of the store for 12 cars, and another parking lot with space for about 5-6 cars located about 50 meters away. I arrived 10 minutes before opening on Saturday and was number 13 on the list after writing my name. They called in 10 groups in order when they opened and I had to wait once. I think you will be called in about 30 minutes to 1 hour after opening. There were seats at the counter, tables, and raised tables for individuals. The raised tables are safe for elderly or those with mobility issues. Unfortunately, the extremely limited tonkatsu was sold out. They said, "It is rare to have 10 servings on any given day." So, if you definitely want to try it, it's better to arrive at least an hour early, especially if there are group reservations ahead of you, as it may sell out. We ordered the rosu katsu set and the hand-kneaded katsu. The thickness of the katsu was impressive. The hand-kneaded katsu was just as good, the size of a fist. Sprinkle some coarse salt on it and take a bite. Delicious! The hand-kneaded katsu came with dipping sauce, grated radish with ponzu, and salt sauce. Both were delicious! The rice was fluffy and sweet, and the miso soup had plenty of daikon radish and was tasty. We were very satisfied. I hear they have more menu options in the evening than during the day, so I would like to come back at night as well. By the way, you can take home any leftovers. Thank you for the delicious meal! Highly recommended.
Visited on 2022.2.23. I had planned to relax at home on my day off, but suddenly had a craving for tonkatsu. I headed to "Inayoshi" in Higashisocho and arrived at 12:40. Luckily, there was one parking spot available, so I was fortunate! However, it took 40 minutes from there to actually have the food in front of me! Finally, I tried the "hirekatsu teishoku" and the "ebihire teishoku (with less rice)." The thick hirekatsu was first enjoyed with salt to savor the sweetness of the meat and fat, and then I was overwhelmed by the thick, delicious katsu in front of me. I was worried if I could finish it all, but it was not as heavy as I had imagined, and I managed to finish it all. Next time, I may try the tonkatsu or hamburger.
