No Way Jose's Mexican In Ch

Our granddaughters live eating here, so I caved. I don't like Mexican food. However, they do. I can not recommend the food, but if you like Mexican food, you may enjoy it.

Great shrimp enchiladas and Pina coladas. Fast service, very clean. Better prices than in Charlotte. I didn't see fried ice cream on the menu?

Our first visit after a recommendation from friends. Juat happened to be May 5th and they were packed. The waitress was amazing, took care of everything and apologized for the time spent, we didn't mind. The food was great, the drinks were amazing, and overall the visit was spectacular. Highly recommend giving them a go!

The restaurant was very dirty, the food was not good, and the owner was rude. I was not impressed and will not be back. I am surprised at the good reviews.

EDIT: WATERBUG is a feel good term for COCKROACH. and you cant spray them away. you need to fumigate. it should not be acceptable to serve food where cockroaches are coming and going as they please across the table, chairs and im assuming in the kitchen. whos to say its not on my food in the kitchen? My only complaint is that I went in for a takeout order and after sitting down to wait a HUGEEE COCKROACH came across the table. HUGE! and I freaked obviously not expecting to be greeting by bugs much less a cockroach where I consume food. When I told them about it cause it was BIG and it was crawling around on the floor around others. They just said “oh a water bug yeah” way too casually. So I will not be eating here again. Very sad because I loved the food but knowing this now and knowing there are roaches and bugs I just can’t stomach it.
