Rojas Mexican Food - Abilene

The menu item is legit! It tastes like the version with which I am most familiar to be from a border town, instead of the more Tex-Mex version you can find here. I ordered a big one and it made several meals. The ratio of meat to hominy is just right and the taste is perfectly balanced. I also have a Chicharrón Burrito that was exactly the right amount of spices. This is my favorite Mexican food in Abilene.

Burritos are a decent size. Wet Burrito was Huge!!! filled the whole container! great prices and friendly staff. Will def return and would recommend def

I was in Abilene last weekend for my grandmother's funeral and the family went to Rojas for breakfast one morning. I was a little concerned when we drove on, but that was quickly put by a very friendly lady at the counter aside when we ordered. Breakfast was great! I had the Huevos Ala Mexicana with Barbacoa, which was incredibly tender. One of the specials was Horchata and it was so refreshing and not too sweet. The star for me was the salsa!!! It's spicy, but that's what I love. I'm glad we went to Abilene because I got a quarter of salsa to go home! If I drive somewhere near Abilene, I make a special trip to Rojas!
