Teds Beerhall - Aboite

Today was our first time at Teds for 2024. We 've been before in years past. We have never sat outside before bc it 's always either been summer and hot or fall and cold. My husband, our adult son who uses a wheelchair, and myself along with our adorable little dog drove 21 minutes to visit. We noticed the upper patio was full so we sat on the second level patio. Quickly a young, unfriendly girl in a plaid skirt came out and advised rudely that we needed to go inside to be seated and something about a 2 hour limit sitting on the patio. Nothing like Hi welcome to Teds. Will it be the 3 of you? I 'll get your menus . My husband reported to the front desk inside and the rude little man advised him that we were supposed to come inside from the beginning and the host has to seat us. Meanwhile I noticed outside that a table had cleared on the top level so I asked the waitress, Monica, if we could take that table. She said yes. When we got up to the top level patio to the empty table the girl in the plaid skirt tried to shoo us away again putting up an argument. I told her the waitress said we could sit there and that my husband had just gone inside to the front desk. From that time on our waitress looked like she would rather get a root canal than serve us. No Welcome to Teds what can I start you with? Or anything. Just What else do you want besides water? Long story short, our food came to $60 and we wound up leaving a $10 tip against my wishes. Our son insisted bc he 's generous and hates to see wait staff shorted even though we were shorted a pleasant afternoon being treated like intruders. I understand that people may stay at a table for hours keeping others from using the patio but obviously we weren 't the loud beer drinking partiers and just wanted some good food and fresh air and appreciated that our puppy could be there. He stayed on a leash in our table area and people didn 't even know he was there. We felt unwelcome the whole hour we were there. Ted 's don 't worry about us taking up your precious outdoor table on a nice day again. WE WON 'T BE BACK. There are other places with outdoor seating and servers who are there to serve; without snotty attitudes.

First time in, but not the last. Great food and drinks, beer/wine only. Service was spectacular! ? Had bacon chicken ranch sammy. The chicken was delicious, smoked I think. I took my sandwich apart and focused on the chicken! Hand cut fries were yummy, along with the brussel sprouts, and I don't like brussel sprouts!

What a disappointing day for so many SINGLE EVERY TIME WE GO! Imperative info: We WERE SAT AT A TABLE. we then ordered food, drinks, sat for maybe 15 minutes. Then it got weird with the passive aggressive tiny man in charge. We were asked to move (8 of us “just in case there was another reservation coming in”. When we asked “is there another reservation?“ We were not given an answer. We moved outside, where there were people standing before. We were again TOLD to move by the man, as a passing comment with no explanation. We then sat elsewhere and were asked to move again. we spent hundreds we’re not loitering, we’re not drunk or loud or causing any problems. Even the servers were pompous, and i don’t understand why you’re a server, you’re there to serve, not be the center of attention (SO WEIRD!!!! . what are you thinking?! Discrimination? Just being rude? would LOVE an explanation since you (pretended that you didn’t have time to give us one. It wasn’t busy….probably won’t be.

We hired Ted's for our large event down town, they were great with communication leading up to our event. We had the most amazing bartender, Taylor, She was on time and super organized. The drinks were amazingly made! She was incredibly efficient, she kept the lines flowing and was a true joy to have at our event!!!We will continue to hire them for our future events because we got nothing but compliments from our guests about their experience with her! Bartenders are rude. Every time I come here I question why I gave it a second chance.
