El Agave Mexican Grill Cantina

If you're in the mood for Mexican food, I highly recommend El Agave. They offer generous portions for the price and the food is served promptly. Their bean dip, salsa, and guacamole are all excellent. The only thing I would suggest adding to the menu is Chihuahua cheese because it's the best.

I must say I was very impressed by El Agave. It all started with chips and some truly delicious salsa, and they even had a unique touch with a jet bath that I have never seen in a Mexican restaurant before. I ordered the chicken fajitas and really enjoyed them. There was a generous amount of food to fill my 3 tortillas, and they had great flavor. The rice and refried beans were also delicious. I would definitely consider trying something else on the menu next time.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful this restaurant is. The service was extremely fast and kind. Within a minute of sitting down you had chips, salsa, beans and drinks. The prices are very fair and you get large portions! You are not leaving hungry. They have comfortable seating, a nice large bar with excellent selections. Definitely make this a stop for yourself. Kid-friendliness: Great menu for kids. All under 6 dollars!

The food is absolutely amazing, and that's coming from someone who lived in Mexico for two years. Aiden, the bartender, is articulate and thoughtful. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This is my first post ever. We eat here quite often. Time to take a break!?! The floor of the booth we were seated at looked like it hadn't been swept all day. Ordered the beef taco salad in a shell for the first time. Came as described until I started combining all of the separated ingredients (guac, cheese, sour cream and beef). There was little to no lettuce in the shell. Requested some lettuce and received a small saucer of lettuce. Bill came and we were charged $1.25 extra for lettuce! Made note of our dissatisfaction on the bill (meant for management) and the waiter came by and apologized and agreed he didn't feel the charge was appropriate. Does your taco salad in a shell come with just the shell? Do I need to order the salad in a bowl instead of the shell? Left unhappy.
