I truly can not say enough about how he brought a child like curiosity out of myself and my wife. a true sense of wonder. 10/10 will definitely be going back sooner rather than later.
Absolutely wonderful, weird, fun, unexpected. A great way to have celebrated my birthday. I won't leave too many details but if you like Ripley's or Barnum's and that kind of vibe, you'll love this exhibit.
We had an absolutely lovely experience at Pexcho's Dime Museum. Pexcho was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, charismatic, and passionate. The artifacts in the Dime Museum were super interesting and Pexcho team had compelling stories behind all of them. There were so many jaw-dropping surprises, one of which I won't spoil because the exhibit is still in progress. The whole experience felt very personal and intimate, and the whole tour was dope from start to finish, with an excellent finale performance. If you plan to visit Augusta, you must stop by this place!
This place is AMAZING! DO NOT miss it! Call, FB or Email to reserve a showtime as they are by appointment only at the moment. Peter and Red met us for a 2 person tour this past Saturday, and we may as well have been a tour of 20. They gave us the show as if it was a packed house. Peter will tour you through his museum, giving a history lesson on the Dime Museums of the past, as well as teaching you about the unique items in his collection. His passion is conveyed through the entire tour, and this is unlike any one you have ever taken! Even if you are not in Augusta, it would be worth your while to make a special trip out. He also hosts shows occasionally, so I also would recommend following on social media or checking in on his website to see what is being offered and plan accordingly. Make sure you schedule time to go through the museum, though. Red 's show towards the end will have you on the edge of your seat. This is the LAST AMERICAN DIME MUSEUM, winner of many local and state awards, so as they say COME ONE, COME ALL!!! Also Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain it 's Peter Excho, doing what he loves and entertaining the masses one tour at a time!
This is the true gem hidden in downtown Augusta. The tour was mind-blowing. The stories told by Peter was stunning. I had no idea of the history I learned there. Red’s sword swallowing performance was astonishing. Both entertainers showed passion and professionalism in what they do. I enjoyed it a lot so this won’t be my last time there.
