Gasthof Engel - Baden-Baden

When we arrived at this restaurant for a late lunch early dinner there were only three other tables with guests, two of which had already finished eating. The table behind us was covered with left over plates that had not been removed and it stayed like that for quite a while ( understandable if it was busy, which it wasn´t ). After waiting for around 10 min the waitress came over and handed us the menus she wasn´t rude but nor was she friendly, we waited for her to come back and take our drinks order and we kept waiting as she came in and out brining the order from the table next to us after around 15 - 20 min we are still waiting as she then goes to the table behind us that had come in after us and proceeds to take their drinks order this was the point where we decided that we would go the restaurant down the road, so we got up and left. It´s not everyday we go out to a restaurant that when we do I would at least like a little bit of service. Having said that the Engel just down the road was really good we were greeted with a smile and our order was taken promptly.
