Pappazio - Bayside

Papazzio truly seems to have everything figured out. Most of the dishes are absolutely delicious, and their cocktails are both creative and quite strong. The desserts and specialty coffee are noteworthy highlights as well. My service experience was nothing short of attentive and gracious. I'm left wondering why the restaurant only received a 78% rating as of this letter—it's a bit puzzling. Papazzio offers unique meals and entertaining evenings to foster a loyal clientele. They even serve complimentary bread alongside a delectable hummus drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with ground black pepper that is simply addictive. Some of my personal favorites include the gnocchi bolognese, sweet potato gnocchi, and rigatoni gorgonzola with shrimp. To top off the meal, nothing beats a macchiato and a tartufo for the perfect ending.

This place is from this world. I've read all reviews and I have a hard time to believe some of what I've read. Either they have the wrong restaurant or they're just defensive. Papazzio is from this world. I've been here for years and here are some things I love in this place that separates it from all the others. The atmosphere is perfectly beautiful romantic candle illuminated table setting. The waiting staff and bartender are more mature and professional than what you get in most restaurants. Dominick the owner is one of the most beautiful people I have ever met, he is NOT shocked, as some others wrote, he is not full of himself. Dominick goes waaaayyyyy out of his way for his customers, and he really takes care of all. Most restaurants you go to the owner are sitting at the bar and collecting the money, NOT SO HERE. Dominck is GENUINE. The food quality is excellent, I have a taste for high quality food and what you get at Papazzio. The cook has excellent quality, recipes and sauces. Proper etiquette is used during dinner by the staff and you will give the feeling satisfied. Even I had made Papazzio my wedding and what they did until today, blows me away. OUTSTANDING RESTAURANT!

What a hidden gem! I enjoyed an incredible dinner with my wife last night. The ambiance is fantastic, with lovely decor and soft music creating a perfect atmosphere. Our meals were absolutely delightful; the salads were fresh, and the duck was cooked to perfection. The timing of the courses was impeccable—our salads arrived shortly after we placed our order, allowing us just enough time to dip some bread in a delicious garlic butter and oil mixture while savoring a glass of wine. Our server was very pleasant and attentive, checking on us several times and making sure our water glasses were always full. The prices are quite reasonable considering the exceptional experience we had. We will definitely be back! I also noticed a sign advertising $10 Pasta Night and half-priced bottles of wine on Tuesdays and Sundays—can't wait to try that! This place is truly a jewel on Bell Boulevard, and I highly recommend it. You have an A rating right in the window!

Great neighborhood. I have been going to Papazzio for at least eight years and find the last review difficult to accept. Food is always reliable and often very good. The owner is personal, friendly and I have never heard that he boasts or speak loudly in the restaurant. The staff is always friendly, friendly and efficient.

A fantastic dining experience! I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and can’t wait to return. The food was excellent, and the service was great.
