Mae Charoen - Berlin

Go eat delicious Thai food here, stop. The last decade has brought quite some exotic new restaurants to Berlin, and many of them put popular Thai dishes on their menu but the end result is far from how it should be. My test for authenticity is the Thai Salad, a true Thai salad is not on the average menu, it's a mix of sweet, sauer and spicy which seems to be something too hard to cook for the average Thai Kitchen copy cat. This Thai Imbiss deliciously cooks this Salad (Number 30), Tom Ka, Pad Thai and what not.. when you eat here and close your eyes and just listen to the nasal Thai language coming from the kitchen you can imagine yourself sitting outside at Sukhumvit soi 38, this kitchen is amazing. Very happy I found this place.

Three nice ladies cook tasty Thai food. It is a tiny fast food where there are few places indoor and few places outdoor to sit. Most of the visitors are neighbours that order take away. Everything that I are was delicious and during my week in Berlin I ate in this restaurant several times. I love Tom Kha Gai soup

Small and inconspicuous, this place downstairs really have much seating. But the amount of take out these ladies prepare shows how popular this little Thai Imbiss is. The food is authentic Thai and delicious!! No msg, no mix of many different Asian cuisines - just a group of Thai ladies cooking good Thai food! My favorite is their green curry.

Small, fine Thai snack, always full, the food is like in Thailand and the price-performance ratio is unbeatable. Large part for small price

I can say as an Asian that the food is great. I've been here for several years and I'm very happy. Flexible to prepare your own dishes. Very friendly and you feel welcome. Of course, you're hitting a different sound when it's a lot. Ladies can't get out of the rest. See you soon.
