This place came heavily recommended by my friends from their Goa road trip for the fish biryani. I visited the next week (September 2017). I was not let down. The fish was a fresh-water one, not a sea-fish, though it was tasty. The place is at a deep curve on the road. Easily missed if you are not looking for it. The owner seemed to be a nice person and I had a good chat with him while the food was being prepared.
We discovered this restaurant through Kripal Amana's foodlovers.tv. It was packed on Eid day. The fish biryani (Rs. 220) would take longer, so we opted for the chicken biryani (Rs. 130) to go. It was unique compared to the biryani we usually have in Mumbai.
I visited this restaurant based on Kripal Amanna's recommendation and I was highly satisfied with the fish biriyani. The location is convenient for travelers as it is located right off the highway and there is parking available. I recommend going after 1pm for the availability of fish/prawns biriyani.
The biryani here is delicious, especially the specialty dum biryani which is only available from 7-8pm. It is uncertain if it is offered during lunch hours. The owner only accepts cash payments.
