Mai Mai Restaurant - Bobingen

Was actually surprised to see this place in the middle of now where in deep Bavaria . Bobingen is a small town really, but the owners run this place very well as was visible by its popularity on lunch on a week day.

We stayed in hotel Schemp and because we saw that the restaurant had so many guests we tried it ourselves. The seating was cosy and the choice of dishes was enormous. We actually ate here twice during our weeks' stay and both times we were...surprised by the good quality food and the pleasant service. Many locals eat here too and that is the sign of a successful hotel restaurant. It pays when everyone is doing what he knows best and in this case the Vietnamese crew is top of the bill.

Wir waren wiederholt mit der Familie im Mai Mai. Auf der Skala von 1-10 steht dieser Vietnamese bei mir auf Platz 9. Das Essen ist seit Jahren konstant auf einem super Niveau. Geschmacklich jedesmal ein wunderbarer Genuss. Als Bespiel: Probieren Sie mal die Wan-Tan Suppe. Die schmeckt doch bei jedem Asiaten irgendwie gleich. Nicht so im Mai Mai. Einfach super lecker, wie auch die anderen, sehr schön angerichteten Speisen zeigen. Habe mal ein paar Bilder beigefügt. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Wie bei jedem Besuch kamen die Getränke sehr schleppend. Das könnte man verbessern und Gast und Gastronom hätten beide was davon.

Das essen ist sehr lecker. Wer asiatisches Essen mag, ist hier definitiv richtig. Das einzige Manko ist die realitv lange Wartezeit auf das Essen. Aber es lohnt sich.

Normales europäisch angehauchtes Asiatisches Essen in guter Qualität. Wenn man aber richtig chinesisch essen will ist man hier falsch. Preise sind ok. Service eher zurückhaltend und nicht besonders charmant.
