So you would think there would be fast service. Sadly, that was not the case. It must have taken over an hour, maybe hour and a half to get our meals the last time. The owner apologized, but unlike most restaurants that would offer to do something, Siam Nippon didn't offer squat, no free dessert, no I'll take something off the bill, nothing. They said they were busy with take out orders; however, we didn't see one soul picking up a take out order. We like the restaurant but it's not in a position to be pissing off customers. If the restaurant does something wrong, which they admitted, they should offer to do something to correct it.
Today is my first visit here. I love the atmosphere and the friendly staffs. There is also a live music performance every Friday and Saturday. I tried a few sushi and the beef stew noodles. They are very good. I will come back and try something else.
Clean, fresh and friendly restaurant with excellent service. Best ever Thai tea, not too sweet, and Tom Kha soup with lots of chicken. Super fresh Sashimi and a great cut of Lovely duck in basil red pepper sauce. Finished with piping hot Thai donuts w/sauce, what a way to complete a picture perfect presentation and divine dinner. The New Management named the restaurant Payathai; it has a wonderful menu selection of Asian cuisine. Can't wait to dine here again the next time we visit the Boca area!
The Asian restaurant just opened under new management and a new name Payathai. The food is great. Had sashimi, Tom kha, lovely crispy duck and a couple other items. The warm donuts were very nice.
Wow! Can’t believe how empty this place was. We all loved what we ordered. The sushi was fresh. The live music was fun, and the mochi was great, too.
