Lilla Parken - Borlaenge

I simply cannot express how much I adore this restaurant - the staff and the food are fantastic. Every time I visit, it's a wonderful experience and my go-to spot to escape from the stresses of life, enjoy great conversation, and leave my worries behind. I have dined in places from England to New Zealand, but I wish I had discovered this gem sooner for its amazing atmosphere and engaging conversations.

This restaurant is fantastic! The atmosphere is absolutely cozy and reminds me of a place I love in Logan, UT. The staff is excellent and I really enjoy the concept of the restaurant. I love this place!

A large group of us ordered food at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the chicken we received had been cooked for 45 minutes and was extremely dry and tasteless. It was the worst thing I had ever eaten. The waitstaff were friendly, but the chef's skills were seriously lacking. Another dish, a raw pizza with no toppings, was also served, although it was eventually corrected. The chicken was extremely salty, and it seemed like the chef tried to balance it out with unsalted potato cake and red wine sauce, which failed to add any flavor. Overall, the food was a disappointment.

We went to Lilla Park last night and wanted a nice evening with food and drink. Nothing is wrong with food, but with the catastrophic service. At the order we asked for Extra Dip, we had to remember 2 times, but no incident, so no dip came. Spent 2 hours in the restaurant and during this time no one came and asked if we wanted to drink something more or whether we wanted coffee and dessert, for example. Tragic.

Nice staff and cozy premises. However, the lunch food has greatly deteriorated after a change of ownership. Had lunch there three times after the change of ownership and was equally disappointed each time. Most recently, I ordered their creamy halloumi pasta and was served a plate of dry penne pasta with two slices of halloumi cheese on top and garnished with five spinach leaves. Hardly the good creamy pasta I was looking forward to unfortunately. Admittedly got a bowl of aioli(? on the side, don't know if the idea was for me to mix my own pasta but regardless it was a big disappointment.
