When the only people eat, the service was very attentive as you might expect. The wine was a little interesting... The wine list was quite limited and we chose a red wine that caused a discussion, as it turned out that the wine list was even more limited than shown in the menu! At the end we chose a bottle they had on the recommendation of the waiter, but even then they had no 75ml bottle, so we had 27.5ml bottles in succession! At least they only charged us with the 75ml bottle price. The food (we both ordered the fixed price menu, 26 € from memory) came in a reasonable time and was very attractive presented and delicious we had a nice meal. The bill was reasonable, though we hang around with their coats without the staff until we could go! All in all we enjoyed our visit and had a nice meal it was only a pity that there were no other diners to give the place a bit more in the atmosphere.
Step back to the time when you enter the restaurant at Logis Auberge de la Vallee and enjoy an unmarried lunch with charming service and great food. The Menu de jour is a good value at 8,50 €, with three courses and a drink. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and hospitable. We were on a motorcycle tour around Reims and the chemine of the lady and it was a pleasure to relax for an hour or so here in the Auberge de la Vallee.
