Cora's 471 Grill - CASTROVILLE

I am a bit unsure about these reviews. The staff was extremely friendly and I feel sorry that they have to work without much air conditioning. The floors are deteriorating and the food is not particularly outstanding.

The fried jalapeños at Cora's are the best in town! I also enjoyed the salad bar and steamed vegetables. There are plenty of options to choose from and the service is top-notch. I appreciate that they have live music and a play area for kids. I definitely recommend Cora's! Thank you to Shelly and God bless this business.

We went here last weekend. They are known for their cfs and nachos. That's what we got. The service was a tad slow. You get a 1 trip to the salad bar, BUT they put your stuff on the tiny plate for you. I'm not a fan of that. Everything was falling off the plate. For $6.00, it would be nice for a bigger plate. We ate our salads, and everything was fresh and loved their homemade ranch. We took our cfs home to eat later. This is my second time here, and it won't be my last. Oh and their homemade peach cobbler was so good!!!!

We go to Cora's 491 Grill outside of Castroville every couple of months mostly for the nachos. We love the nachos and no one does them better than Cora's. That with a small side salad and we feel we get healthy food. Of course we get the X-large order order which come out on a cafeteria serving tray. These nachos are loaded with everything and hand made. (We also have leftovers for home. We have tried many other things on the menu and they have all been good, shout out to the hamburger, but it is the nachos we keep going back for! Best nachos in Texas! They do have live entertainment on certain nights, so check ahead because it can get busy. Cora's is closed Monday and Tuesday. This is a true Texas place with lots of atmosphere! Parking: They also have extra parking across 471 on busy nights. Kid-friendliness: They are very kid friendly with a fenced in playground and a fenced in patio for parents to sit out and watch the kids. They also have kid friendly food. The outdoor area can be sectioned off for large groups and private events. Wheelchair accessibility: They do have ramps to get inside, but they also have two outdoor areas, one covered and one uncovered.

I’m kind of confused on these reviews.The staff was super nice and I feel bad they have to work with hardly any AC. The floors are breaking and the food isn’t anything amazing.
