I ordered the cheese plate with all three cheeses and it does not disappoint. The crusty bread and mustard and jam combo isexcellent. The atmosphere is dark and calm. Like a hidden speak easy/prohibition bar without all the smoke. There are manysignature cocktails. I had the Basil Gimlet and it was particularly tasty. Very close proximity to the ETC Theater at SecondCity so you can easily wrap up your check and make your way into the theater for a fun night of improv and sketch comedy.

The location is just a short walk from the ETC Theater at Second City, making it easy to settle your bill and head to the theater for an enjoyable night of improv and sketch comedy.
I visited the bar before a show and found the ambiance quite pleasant, making it a great spot for a date. They have a selection of board games and a decent variety of drinks to choose from. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try the food as I was short on time. However, what really annoyed me was that I ordered a whiskey on the rocks and was charged separately for the whiskey and an additional fee for the ice. Who charges $2 for ice? My advice: skip the ice!

First, I will say that the wait staff was awesome. Our waitress was hilarious and helpful. My friends and I visited on Tuesday, so it taco Tuesday. We did not have tacos but has margaritas which were reminiscent of my college days. Just tequila with amargarita mix. Not what I expected. In addition, the pretzel twist was rubbery so it must have just come out the microwave.Although my meal could have been better, my friend had the barbecue cauliflower which she loved. Overall the ambience and staffwhere great, the food could have been better.
